OUR VERSE FOR THE YEAR

OUR PRAYER FOR THE YEAR

St Mary’s Church Purton - Prayer for the Year 2026

Father, God of all Hope, we give you thanks and praise that you and your promises and your work are the Foundation of our Hope.
Lord Jesus, God of all Hope, we give you thanks and praise that you are the Focus of our Hope, through what you did on the Cross on our behalf.

Holy Spirit, God of all Hope, we give you thanks and praise that you fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in you for the Fulfilment of our Hope in the present and in the future. We pray that you will be at work in us that we might so overflow with Hope in our Church Family and in our Community that many might find that Hope attractive and compelling, inviting and welcoming, comforting and challenging for the glory of God and in the name of the God of Hope, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Amen
