St Mary's Church, Purton is a short, pleasant walk out of the village and can be found beside the Manor House.
The beautiful medieval building is open every day from approximately 9 am to dusk for everyone to enjoy its peaceful atmosphere.
Our mission extends throughout the Purton community and beyond, with Church members taking an active part in village life.
We are a part of the Church of England and the Diocese of Bristol, and you are most welcome to join us.
Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is of primary importance at St Mary's. All our safeguarding work is underpinned by the Church of England policy on "Promoting a Safer Church". If you have any concerns or would like further information please contact our Parish Safeguarding Officer.
