Ian Tweedie-Smith - Vicar
Ian became a Christian in 1973 and has been in church ministry since 1985. He began in inner-city London, then Bury St Edmunds, followed by Woking.
He has been Vicar of St Mary's since October 2012. He is half-time in Purton, and spends the remainder of his time overseeing the running of Stockton House in Fleet, Hampshire. Stockton House includes a Christian Conference Centre and a school.
Ian is helped by his wife, Celia, who has a talent for pastoral ministry. They have two children – George and Ruth.

Judith Wells - Curate
As an Associate Minister, Judith seeks, along with the Church's Ministry Team, to serve the people of Purton from ages 0 to 100+. Judith spends time in the local primary school, supports Messy Church and leads a variety of services in Church.
Judith has lived in the village since 1986 and supports Ian in pastoral care, especially with home visits to the sick and elderly, and by spending time in the parish's Care Homes.
She is very much supported by her husband Stephen and their families.
